Some people have this strange notion that people with a camera are somehow unable to experience the moment. Oh, how wrong they are!

Because what only a photographer could ever know: our cameras are the very thing by which we experience life. They are, as the photographers of old told, passports to worlds otherwise inaccesible.
The truth is that as active photographers we enter the worlds of our childhoods, where no object is but itself, where every little aspect of the world is haunted with stories.
